The Villarreal sisters arrive on stage as a trio, just as they’ve learned to do since Monterrey: tight-knit, upfront, and with that groove that makes tracks take off. The Warning is Dany on guitar and vocals, Pau behind the drums with a very physical, hard-hitting punch, and Ale on bass, all carried by vocal harmonies that grab you as much as they bite. On stage, their rock ranges between hard rock, alternative metal, and alternative rock, with choruses that feel more open without losing the tension of the riffs. They draw from their recent albums, from Error to Everything’s Falling, and from the tracks that marked their ascent, sometimes in English, sometimes in Spanish.
