On December 6, 2026, Rea Garvey brings his very own winter program, Rea Garvey’s Christmas Calling, to the Kongresshaus Zürich. The Irish singer-songwriter, who first established himself in Germany with Reamonn and has been at home as a solo artist for years, moves live between pop and rock, with a strong sense of melody and a songwriting approach that clearly thinks from the stage outward. In the set, guitar-led ballads meet punchier, radio-friendly rock songs and fine electronic accents, as one knows from his solo albums. Garvey does not take the pure Christmas-show shortcut, but builds the mood through dynamics, voice, and band moments: sometimes intimate, sometimes with forward drive. An evening that ties the familiar refrains to the festive frame, without getting lost in kitsch.
