Info
Following the release of her album Osmin in 2024, the singer and rapper Zinée again deploys her quiet, artistic strength in a new EP titled Bil, symbolizing a healthy renaissance and a salutary shift of direction. Across seven tracks imbued with the humanity that defines her, she clears the slate, shedding the weights that have sometimes restrained her desire to create and freeing herself, both musically and personally. To perfect Bil, Zinée surrounded herself with a small, benevolent team, three musicians who are also her friends: the Canadian pianist and all-rounder Chilly Gonzales; the multi-platinum beatmaker Freaky Joe (SCH, Djadja & Dinaz, SDM, Kekra...); and the producer Empty7, known for his solo projects and his work with rapper Django.
From this 'no-pressure, no misplaced ego, and no negativity' collaboration emerged music oscillating between darkness and sunny textures, between memories and a determined will to move forward at all costs. Zinée deftly takes control of the obstacles, plunges back into childhood and nostalgia for inspiration, but also for that ongoing quest for happiness that drives her. She will present this project on stage at L'Étage in Rennes on January 22, 2027 at 7:00 PM.
