Master of the Monday jam at Le Baiser Salé, whose on-stage experience knows how to reach every ear in his wake, you name François Constantin. A drummer and maestro of musical encounters, he leads the jam with a joyful, communal energy that is distinctive to these evenings. Born into a family of musicians, he early swapped his childhood piano for rhythms from around the world — Cuban, Brazilian, African — which he blends with contagious mischief.
On stage, he sets the tone and drives the improvisations. Amateurs or pros, curious or passionate, all find themselves in his groove, carried by spontaneous exchanges. We will begin with a special Latin Jazz intro: a fusion of jazz and Latin rhythms. Surrounded by Renaud Palisseau on piano, Fabricio Nicholas on bass, and Lucas Dauchez on drums, the atmosphere promises to be electric.
A jam where every note counts, where the borders between styles fade, and where the essential is to share the music together.
