On March 24, 2027, Kalandra return to Milan, at the Legend Club, with the The Other Side Release Tour, which previews the release of the new album The Other Side. The Norwegian group, led by the clear voice of Katrine Stenbekk, brings to the stage a distinctive cross between alternative rock and atmospheric folk: electric and acoustic guitars, controlled pulsations, ambient textures and those Nordic textures with a nearly cinematic edge. It is a live performance built on contrasts, between tension and melodic openness, with writing that leaves room for both the essential and the breadth of the refrains, in the vein of records like The Line and A Frame of Mind.
To open the evening, Finnegan Tui: a New Zealand singer-songwriter and producer based in London who works on folk infused with electronics, with minimalist arrangements, slow tempos and layered backing vocals. In performance, he translates the intimacy of the songs into a dynamic that grows slowly, between silences, ambient textures and a voice very much in the foreground.
