On October 3, 2026, Electric Studios in Sheffield hosts a full drum & bass meeting point with Hybrid Minds and Basslayerz sharing the bill.
Hybrid Minds (Josh White and Matt Lowe) bring their melodic, liquid-leaning take on DnB: piano-led themes, cinematic pads, deep low-end and vocal hooks that sit right on the edge between rave energy and pop-shaped songwriting. Known mostly for DJ sets, they keep things moving between warm, introspective moments and clean, driving rhythms built for the dancefloor.
Basslayerz arrive with a very different kind of impact. The Nottingham trio links DJ Slipz with MCs Spyda and Blu Bomma for a jump-up-focused, high-pressure show where fast drums and heavy bass drops leave plenty of space for sharp mic work and crowd interaction. Expect a set designed for momentum, switching between club weight and festival-style punch.
