On 3 November 2026, The Streets lands at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea with Mike Skinner at the wheel, bringing his sharp, talk-sung take on British life back to the stage. Since the early 2000s, he’s built a sound that sits between UK rap, garage and restless electronics, always driven by writing that feels like overhearing real conversations.
Expect a set that leans into the projects that made The Streets a reference point: the raw punch of Original Pirate Material and the narrative engine of A Grand Don’t Come for Free, with its everyday drama and instantly recognisable lines. Skinner’s songs move fast, switching from humour to tension without warning, built on details, accents and street-level storytelling.
