Back in London for a full live show, JOY (Anonymous) returns on October 24, 2026 at Hackney Church with the kind of set built for bodies in motion and heads in the clouds. The duo, formed by Henry Counsell and Louis Curran, comes from a very hands-on club culture: house, UK garage, breakbeat and pop instincts woven into a live format where drops, sung hooks and heavy low-end move fast and hit together.
After sharpening their identity through those direct, improvised South Bank performances in the early 2020s, they’ve kept that same open, collective energy while scaling up to bigger rooms and collaborations across the UK electronic scene. Expect a show that pulls from their catalogue, including the era around Cult Classics, and folds in new material from their forthcoming album: tension-and-release builds, vocal-driven peaks, and those quieter turns that make the rush feel earned.
