On January 21, 2027, Sam Sauvage stops over at the Espace Malraux in Joué-lès-Tours as part of his tour. A self-taught artist from the North, he develops a French-style alternative pop that draws as much from 1980s rock as from the new wave, with a marked taste for clear, visual lyrics and a melancholia that does not apologize. In his writing, one encounters the shadow of rock chanson and highly embodied narratives, while the rhythms and keyboards lay down a more nerve-wracking, danceable terrain, without tipping into nostalgia.
On stage, Sam Sauvage relies on intensity and a presence that borders on theatre: it plays, it tells, it unsettles, carried by a commanding voice and a retro production that remains firmly anchored in the present. A concert conceived as a single block, between tension and groove, which also foreshadows what is to come: after a first noteworthy EP, he moves toward a new chapter and is preparing the release of his first album.
