Fontaines D.C. are back to set off some powder on 12 November 2026 at the AFAS Dome in Antwerp, with the blend that has distinguished them since their beginnings: post-punk urgency, abrasive guitars and tightly crafted lyrics, nourished by their love of poetry. On stage, the Dublin group alternates rhythmic tension with more contemplative breaths, in keeping with a trajectory that has widened its format over the course of their records, from the razor edge of the early days to textures that are more open. This date also serves as a preview of their next chapter, carried by Dopamine Chamber, an album that questions the pursuit of pleasure in an era that is closing, already teased by the single Marianne.
As the opening act, Chalk creates a more electronic and cinematic backdrop. The Belfast duo combines tight beats close to techno and drum and bass, saturated guitars and shouted singing, between cold wave and punk energy. A physical set, conceived as a block of sound and image, perfect to lay the ground before Fontaines D.C. arrive.
