Chimer emerge from a coastal gloom, Hastings’ answer to the collapse of the modern world. Marrying the scorched-earth feedback of The Jesus and Mary Chain with the frantic chemical-drenched energy of a 90s illegal rave, the trio continue to experimentally unravel a sonic Bayeux tapestry. After constructing a wall-of-sound siege of a live show with towering guitar feedback and harsh vocal delivery, the group have been on the road playing shows alongside the likes of SilverwingKiller, Y and Pop Will Eat Itself.
Honk are a genre-warping six-piece that are here to rewire your idea of country music. It is called “Trashcan Country”, a rough-edged twist on twang, dragged through the back alleys of punk, doused in garage rock grit, and left to dry in the blazing sun. At the core of Honk is their live show, equal parts hoedown and meltdown, which has earned them support slots with artists like Meryl Streak, Delivery and Being Dead.
Taste of Cherry are a five-piece stage gaze rock band from London, blending garage rock, punk and krautrock.
12 Apostles are a guitar and synth serenading duo backed by a drum machine.
