Fat Dog lands in Madrid on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Galileo Galilei with their nervy blend of post-punk, dance-punk, and pulse-driven electronic music. Born in London in 2020 around Joe Love, the group quickly became a quintet and has earned its place with sweaty live shows where rock stretches toward the rave without losing its edge.
In their tracks, tense synth lines, repetitive rhythms, and an energy that never sits still coexist, with a saxophone that opens up unexpected nods to klezmer. After drawing attention even before releasing material and building their reputation as the opening act for bands like Yard Act or Viagra Boys, they signed to Domino in 2023 and since then have been releasing tracks that get sharper and sharper: from 'King of the Slugs' to singles like 'All the Same' or 'Running', culminating in 2024 with the album WOOF. Live, that mix of raw punch, danceable energy, and a dash of the absurd is at the heart of the plan.
