Man/Woman/Chainsaw bring their London-bred noise-pop rush to the O2 Forum Kentish Town on 11 May 2027. Built around founders Billy Ward and Vera Leppänen and now fully expanded into a sextet, the band’s live set thrives on movement: jagged, abrasive guitars snapping into place, then suddenly giving way to clearer melodic lines before the tension kicks back in. Their sound pulls from alternative rock, post-punk, noise and art rock, with songs that feel less like neat verse-chorus statements and more like shifting structures designed to be played loud, fast and slightly off-balance.
After making their name on the early 2020s UK circuit, Man/Woman/Chainsaw turned their collective format into the point: parts collide, rhythms tighten, and the songwriting keeps evolving in real time. With their Fiction Records signing and the single “Only Girl” as a recent marker, this London date is about catching a band still in motion, testing new edges and pushing the contrast between friction and hook right up to the front row.
