CKay lands on November 10, 2026 in Maassilo, Rotterdam with his own mix of emo-afrobeats: afrobeats that slide toward R&B, pop and alté, carried by smooth melodies and an intimate vocal style. Live, for him it’s less about bombast and more about atmosphere: slow afropop rhythms, light electronic textures, and that classic focus on love, longing and doubts.
Since the breakthrough of "Love Nwantiti" and the album Sad Romance, CKay continues to refine his sound, with recent work drawing on the sensuous, melodic thread. In Rotterdam he delivers a set that places new tracks alongside the familiar songs, with room for singing along—and for the soft, dark edges that give his songs that extra something.
