On March 4, 2027, Eivør will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht with a live set that effortlessly shifts between Nordic folk, pop, jazz and rock, underpinned by often subtle electronic textures. The Faroese singer-songwriter has been building her own language since the late 1990s, combining traditionally inspired melodies, a direct pop structure and room for atmosphere and dynamism.
In her work you hear both the roots of the islands and a gaze outward: songs in Faroese, English and Icelandic, and a path that runs from early records such as Krákan and Eivør to later albums like Bridges, Segl and Enn. Live, that development comes together in a show that leans as much on intimate singing as on layered arrangements, with moments that whisper and then break open. Do not expect fixed categories, but a concert that is constantly moving.
