Info
An emblematic queer collective of the Paris scene over the past five years, Aïe arrives at Unité.22 for an evening where electronic music and dance performances will dialogue in a joyful, free, and inclusive space.
Equally comfortable with large-scale formats as with intimate nights, it is after enchanting the Station Gare des Mines, the Cabaret Sauvage, and Virage that the collective comes to lay down its identity at 22 Rue Jobin, for this format away from the spotlight, where the alchemy between the audience and the artists within the club is central.
For this inaugural edition, Riva, resident DJ at Fold in London, will take the booth for the centerpiece of the night, carrying with her records of dreamy techno and progressive house. A producer and DJ engaged in the cause, having performed in numerous clubs across Europe, her sets tell as much of her commitment to queer and racially marginalized communities of nightlife as they do about making people dance.
The natural link with Marseille will crystallize in the presence of Hunkut, cofounder and resident of the Dérapage nights, a devotee of the collective rite that the club scene represents for him, well inspired by American figures of house music, where sensual beats and tech house collide.
Finally, Nicol, the architect of the Aïe collective, known for releases notably on Chloé's Lumière Noire label, will deliver a sensual and powerful set, between techno and house, to carry the colors of the collective, its spirit of communion, and its intensity.
Hunkut has been the cofounder and resident of the Marseille nights Dérapage since 2024. Between house, tech house, and club beats, he crafts vibrant and percussive sets, nourished by club cultures of New York, Chicago, Detroit, and Berlin, imagining the party as a collective ritual, a space where bodies move freely.
Resident of Fold in London, DJ, producer, and an engaged figure on the London scene, Riva has played at venues such as Fabric, Boiler Room, or RSO Berlin, while championing projects that highlight queer and racially marginalized nightlife communities, from Daytimers to Big Dyke Energy. Between dreamy techno, progressive house, and sounds drawn from her childhood in the Middle East, her sets tell as much as they make people dance.
Nicol has established himself for more than ten years as one of the queer figures of Parisian nights. Organizer and resident of Aïe, he embodies the collective from within. Behind the turntables, he projects a sensual and powerful energy, navigating between house and techno in a recognizable sonic signature, with sets built in dialogue with the audience. In terms of production, he already has two EPs released on Lumière Noire, Chloé's label.
