Teddy Swims arrives in London with 'The Ugly Tour', on April 22, 2027 at The O2. Born Jaten Dimsdale and raised in the Atlanta suburbs, he first came to prominence in 2019 with online covers in which he reimagined soul, pop and country songs in his own way, backed by a broad and highly expressive voice. Since then, he has built a personal repertoire at the crossroads of soul, R&B and pop, with touches of gospel, rock and country.
Signed to Warner Records, he has released the EPs Unlearning (2021), Tough Love (2022) and Sleep Is Exhausting (2022), where he speaks frankly about relationships, vulnerability and rebuilding. His debut album I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) (2023) pushes this blend further: piano-driven ballads, contemporary R&B and more pop-rock-leaning moments, notably around the track 'Lose Control'. On stage, the intimate writing takes on a more collective dimension, in a band format, with a central emphasis placed on the voice, groove and direct contact with the audience.
