If you're into the pulse of the North of England’s club scene, the night of August 14, 2026 at Sala Apolo in Barcelona will be marked by Interplanetary Criminal. Behind the alias lies Zachary Bruce, a DJ and producer raised between Blackburn and several key stops on the British circuit before settling in Manchester. His story runs from dark breakbeat to lo-fi house, eventually honing a sound very much in the UK garage mould: dry basslines, speed garage rhythms and a direct rave edge, designed for the body.
With releases that have been circulating for years on independent labels such as Shall Not Fade or Timeisnow, and with his own ATW Records (together with Main Phase) as a platform for contemporary garage, Interplanetary Criminal arrives with a set that tends to move fast, with precise cuts and constant energy. The set also features the B.O.T.A. collaboration with Eliza Rose, without losing focus: club music, no filler, from the booth to the dancefloor.
