Pedro Abrunhosa hits the road again with INVERBO, a show conceived as an intimate moment, carried by the Portuguese language and by his very own way of conveying emotion through writing. Born in Porto, initially trained on the double bass and in jazz before turning to singing, he has since the 1990s built a repertoire where pop, soul, funk and R&B intersect, with a sense of groove and arrangements that can also be pared down. On stage, INVERBO blends new songs with key tracks from his career, in a fluid narrative where the lyrics matter as much as the music. Between piano, singing and jazz undertones in the background, Abrunhosa returns to the concert format as a space for sharing, without posturing, just the story and the voice.
