Gooey takes over Acid Bogen with a house lineup. Meriem S opens with a mix of house, jazz, funk, boogie, electro and Afro-diasporic sounds. Flowww and Joe Cleen go b2b as Double Penetration, with an energetic mix of classic house with progressive influences. Then Offenbach-based Luzie brings her minimalistic, groovy selections back to Kater. Label boss Siggatunez goes b2b with Jan Ketel.
Hopper will provide a contrast with gritty, industrial sounds inspired by the 80s and 90s. Opening the night will be Jennifer Touch, a multidisciplinary artist whose sound can be described as a post-wave-cold-pop-acid-romance. A lover of old synths, she draws inspiration from PJ Harvey and Depeche Mode. Moroccan-Belgian artist Zaatar then takes over, combining post-punk and EBM influences with the sounds of her home country. The night closes with The Brvtalist, with a mixture of techno, house, groove and body music.
On Sunday at Kater Blau in Berlin, the party continues through the day with 257, with Alfonsvs and Adriana Ruas from Porto-based label Kokölò, as well as Emmanuel K and Norman Weber. The program ranges from groovy minimal to euphoric progressive house and tech house, late into Sunday night.
