Discovery Sessions heads to Munich for a date with Justin Jay, on 23 August 2026 at Lieberscholli. Based in Los Angeles, the producer and DJ has, since the early 2010s, pursued a fluid path between house, techno and breakbeat, never allowing himself to be boxed into a single label. Noticed for releases on Dirtybird, he quickly broadened his playground, moving through labels like Black Book while developing his own ecosystem. In his sets as in his productions, Justin Jay likes broken rhythms, rougher textures, rave energy and a melodic sensibility that flirts with electronic pop and indie dance. His album Home (2017) marked a turn toward more hybrid formats, at the crossroads between club and songwriting. With his project Fantastic Voyage, he pushes this collaborative and open approach even further, between tracks crafted for the dancefloor and songs in the making. In Munich, one can expect a set that navigates, hits hard and breathes, always with that taste for mixing and groove.
