As summer winds down, September 5, 2026 at Westhafen Leipzig belongs to the DJs who understand Techno and House not as a mere function but as a narrative. With DJ Koze behind the decks, there is a producer who, since the 1990s, has moved between hip-hop upbringing and off-kilter club music. His sets thrive on breaks, detours, unexpected pop moments, and that lightly psychedelic flow that loosens up House and Techno without losing the tension.
Marcel Dettmann brings the other side: clear, dry, punchy, and with the Berlin imprint that builds from repetitive precision and metallic textures into a steadily rising intensity. His blend of lean techno hardness, EBM influences, and atmospheric edges lands on point and remains agile.
Then comes Gabrielle Kwarteng, whose New York club and community influences are audible: House, Techno, Disco, Dub and Bass in a warm, percussive thread that functions more through continuity than through effects. The lineup is completed by DJ Hyperdrive.
