Overmono, the Welsh duo of brothers Tom and Ed Russell (also known as Truss and Tessela), return with a matinee-format DJ set on 6 August 2026 at Rough Trade East in London. Accustomed to navigating between techno, breakbeat, UK garage and bass music, they build tight, mobile sets in which the percussion breaks and is reassembled, propelled by thick basslines and sampled voices that catch the ear.
This date accompanies the release of their new album Pure Devotion, due August 7, 2026 via XL Recordings. On stage as behind the decks, Overmono enjoys walking the line between rave energy and more melodic details, with that fractured sense of rhythm that has defined their signature from their early XL releases to the more 'song'-oriented formats of recent years. An opportunity to catch them in a closer, more club-focused context.
