ATLiens head to Calgary with the Destruction of a UFO Tour on November 22, 2026 at the Palace Theatre. Born in Atlanta, the duo has carved out a distinctive place in dubstep and bass music thanks to a dark, compact aesthetic tailored for live performance. Their sound relies on abrasive basslines, fractured rhythms, and a tension that draws as much from trap as from the sound design of large-scale stage productions.
Discovered in the mid-2010s with 'Chief,' they have followed with tracks and EPs that emphasize impact and texture without getting lost in the spectacle. This approach is evident on Invasion EP (2018), with tracks like 'Malfunction,' 'Witch Doctor,' and 'Interstellar,' and in their collaborations, notably 'Interlock' with Bassnectar. On stage, extraterrestrial imagery and metallic masks complete the tableau but leave room for the essential: a set built to raise the pressure, snap abruptly, then restart heavier.
