Born in Bratislava, ADÉLA (Adéla Jergová) arrives with a pop in which the body matters as much as the voice. Trained very early in ballet, she spent time in Moscow and then with the Vienna State Ballet before settling in London, and she retains from this journey a highly performative way of writing and storytelling, between choreography and confession. Discovered in 2023 via Dream Academy (and the series Pop Star Academy: Katseye), she launches her solo trajectory with "Homewrecked" and "Superscar," and, in 2025, defines a more frontal aesthetic oriented toward autofiction and sexuality, notably on "MachineGirl" (co-produced by Grimes) and "DeathByDevotion." Signed to Capitol and Polydor, she condenses this direct, dance-driven facet on her EP The Provocateur, anchored by "SexOnTheBeat," with carefully crafted vocal harmonies and overt references to Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, or Mariah Carey. To be seen live on September 13, 2026 at Théâtre Fairmount in Montreal.
