On January 14, 2027, Izia arrives at SEW Morlaix with her distinctive blend of hard-hitting rock and sharper pop. Revealed on stage in a bold, upfront style, she first made an impression with a tense sound nourished by garage rock, blues rock, and punk energy, notably on her early trio records and her first albums, Izia and So Much Trouble.
Over the years, she tightened her writing and shifted the center of gravity toward French-language pop rock, more melodic, without losing the intensity of her performance. This turning point is audible on La Vague and then on Citadelle, where electro and a more contemporary songcraft take more space. On stage, all of this translates into a concert that plays with contrasts—tension, pulse, and catchy choruses—carried by a highly embodied stage presence.
