On September 5, 2026, Com Truise performs at The Mod Club in Toronto. Behind the name, Seth Haley has been crafting an electronic sound since the late 2000s, nourished by synthwave and chillwave, with a taste for analog textures, thick basslines, and dry drums that evoke both the machine and the melody. Revealed with the EP Cyanide Sisters and quickly signed to Ghostly International, he laid the foundations of his universe on Galactic Melt, before pushing the formula further on In Decay, Iteration and Persuasion System. His tracks often move at a moderate tempo, playing with repetition, pads and synth lines that grab attention without forcing it. On stage, Com Truise turns this studio work into a tense and immersive live electronic experience, straddling club culture, ambient and slowed-down funk, without slipping into mere retro homage.
