The Disco Express is back on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Ministry of Sound in London, with a line-up built for people who like their house with real funk and soul in the mix. At the heart of the party: a meeting between big vocal energy and selectors who know how to keep a room moving without forcing it.
Barbara Tucker brings that unmistakable New York house spirit. Raised in Brooklyn and shaped by the early ’90s club sound, she’s the voice behind a run of floor-tested anthems with Masters At Work, including “I Get Lifted” and “Beautiful People”. Her vocals sit right where gospel warmth meets raw club drive: direct, physical, made to be sung back.
DJ Spen comes in from Baltimore with the Basement Boys legacy and decades of groove-forward house. From hip-hop beginnings to a deep catalogue of productions and remixes, his sets lean into warm basslines, swinging drums and soulful hooks that land hard without losing finesse.
Bustin’ Loose, founder of The Disco Express, ties it all together with a disco-to-house approach full of edits, boogie flavours and modern club pressure, plus special guests still to be announced.
