Johnny Symphonique Tour, the story continues. In 2027–2028, the show will tour across France, including a date at the Summum in Grenoble on March 4, 2028 at 7:00 PM.

“The real Johnny Hallyday is on stage.” Yvan Cassar has come to this conviction over more than fifteen years during which he accompanied Johnny as musical director. It forms the starting point of a project entrusted to him: to restore the power and emotion of Johnny Hallyday’s voice as it resonated in concert, while offering him the sonic setting that studio recordings allow.

From this ambition come two albums: in 2019, Johnny, and in 2021 Act II. Both rest on an unprecedented principle: preserving Johnny Hallyday’s live vocal takes and magnifying them with new arrangements, sometimes symphonic, sometimes deliberately pared-down. A faithful tribute to the artist, with the intensity that only live performance could reveal.

In May 2022, Johnny Symphonique hit the road for a first tour of twenty dates. Under the direction of Yvan Cassar, more than one hundred musicians, a choir and a visual creation accompany Johnny’s voice, rendered on three giant screens. The classics take on renewed life: Diego, libre dans sa tête, L’Envie, Allumer le feu, Que je t’aime, but also Marie, Sang pour sang or Je te promets. A new series of concerts is planned for spring 2024, enriched with new titles including Gabrielle, Noir c’est noir or the rhythm and blues medley imagined by Johnny in the sixties. In 2027, as the audience prepares to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Johnny Hallyday’s passing, Johnny Symphonique opens a new chapter. From November 10, 2027, the show will embark on twenty-three dates across France through March 2028. Always under the direction of Yvan Cassar, it will continue to have this voice heard, carried by the power of a symphonic orchestra and a crafted staging. This new tour will offer new musical tableaux, an expanded repertoire and several exceptional guests who will come to share this celebration.
