Bachar Mar-Khalifé and Christophe met in 2018 at the Maison de la Radio. The occasion to record together an unreleased piece, written and composed by Bachar, and performed as a duo: Jnoun.
In the spring of 2025, on the fifth anniversary of Christophe's passing, Bachar Mar-Khalifé, the renowned performer, performed in the intimate setting of Théâtre Zingaro, accompanied by his collaborators: Dogan Poyraz on drums and Aleksander Angelov on bass. The trio reunited for the first time since 2022 (the album A Live in Paris) to perform this distinctive repertoire of Christophe.
This concert at Le Silo in Marseille on October 30, 2026 at 8 p.m. is scheduled as part of the Nouvelles Rencontres d’Averroès, organized this year with the Lebanese daily L'Orient-Le Jour. The festival is part of the Mediterranean Season 2026.
