On November 18, 2026, Desire will perform at the FRANNZ Club in Berlin. The duo, anchored by Megan Louise's voice and production by Johnny Jewel, has moved since the late 2000s between dream pop, synth-pop and a slightly italo-disco-flavored new wave edge. Shimmering synth textures, clear melodies, and that cool, nocturnal mood: Desire crafts songs that work as pop while also sounding like a soundtrack.
The project also gained recognition through "Under Your Spell," which reached a wide audience thanks to the film Drive. Since then, Desire has remained in the Italians Do It Better cosmos, with releases that fuse romance and distance, retro textures and modern electronic glow. Live, it quickly becomes very cinematic, without much fanfare: voice, groove, atmosphere.
Johnny Jewel is not only the mastermind behind the sound for the evening, but will also appear as a Special Guest. As a musician and score composer, he has for years shaped the IDIB aesthetic blend of minimal synth-pop elegance and cinematic tension.
The supporting act is MOTHERMARY, the dark electro-pop project of twin sisters Elyse and Larena Winn.
