If you’re following the new wave of German-speaking rap, you’ve surely heard of RIN. The German rapper, also known as Renato Simunovic, has established himself with a melodic sound that blends trap, cloud rap and lyrics deeply rooted in everyday life. Autotune in full effect, almost-pop choruses, synthetic productions and imagery that swing between luxury, internet culture and tales about the crew: with him, the rhymed verses often rub shoulders with sung melodies, with that taste for contrast that marks his signature.
First brought to broader attention in 2016 with 'Bianco' (with Yung Hurn), he subsequently refined his style on 'Eros', broadened the atmospheres on 'Nimmerland', and delved into the theme of small-town life on 'Kleinstadt'. On December 10, 2026, RIN will perform at The Camden Assembly Pub in London for a live show that promises a high-energy set, between rap and pop, built for sing-alongs as much as for heavy bass.
