On 27 January 2027, Two Door Cinema Club bring their sharp, fast-moving indie-pop to Manchester’s AO Arena. Built around Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird, the Northern Irish trio has always balanced melodic guitar lines with tight rhythms and a clean, immediate sense of hooks. From the punchy rush of Tourist History to the more synth-forward, pop-leaning turns of Beacon and the disco/new wave edges explored on later records, their songs are made for the room: short, structured, and constantly pushing forward.
Circa Waves join the bill with their Liverpool-bred, guitar-first energy. Led by Kieran Shudall, they’ve carved a lane where bright riffs, compact choruses and a bit of garage snap keep everything moving, whether they’re in the sunlit drive of Young Chasers or the heavier shades that followed. Expect a set that’s direct, lively, and built to sing back.
Opening, Manchester’s own Arkayla set the tone with layered guitars, clear-cut refrains and a slightly misty atmosphere that sits between indie rock, alternative and touches of dream pop—tight songs, but with space for texture.
