Polyphia returns to the stage with its 'Tour MMXXVI' on December 15, 2026 at the O2 Academy Leeds. Born in Plano, Texas, the quartet led by guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, with Clay Gober on bass and Clay Aeschliman on drums, has made virtuosity a playground for pop and contemporary music. Starting from a metal and shred base, the group quickly broadened its palette toward a hybrid instrumental where prog, hip-hop, funk, sharply cut melodies and electronic touches intertwine, with rhythms often inspired by trap. From Muse to Remember That You Will Die, Polyphia advances through contrasts and shifts in register, while maintaining a taste for hooks and guitar lines that punch through.
RJ Pasin, based in New York, opens the evening with a project at the border of alternative scenes and rap. He blends heavy riffs, hyperpop production, Jersey drill influences and R&B, playing on tonal shifts within a single track.
Perturbator completes the bill. Under this name, Paris-born James Kent pushes a dark electronic sound between darksynth, synthwave and industrial, with an unmistakable metal heritage. On stage, his tracks move like nocturnal soundtracks, taut and confrontational.
