Skerryvore brings its Scottish folk-rock to Belfast on December 10, 2026, at Limelight. Born in the Inner Hebrides and shaped on the road since the early 2000s, the band started as a group for island dances before moving to Glasgow and widening its reach. Onstage, their sound is built around Highland tradition—pipes, accordion and fiddle—pushed forward by an electric rhythm section that leans into melodic rock without losing the lift of reels and jigs.
Over the years, Skerryvore has opened its palette, moving from the early energy of West Coast Life (2005) through On The Road (2007) and the self-titled Skerryvore (2010), then into broader, song-driven territory on World of Chances (2012) and Chasing The Sun (2014). More recently, Evo (2018) and Tempus (2023) keep that hybrid approach alive, with hints of pop, country and americana threaded into a set that stays firmly rooted in Scotland’s live folk tradition.
