Audien, also known as Nathaniel Rathbun, lands in Calgary on September 5, 2026 at the Palace Theatre, bringing his distinctive approach of putting melody at the center of the dancefloor. Raised on trance in his early days, the American producer has gradually refined a clean, vocal-driven, highly crafted progressive house, balancing big-format EDM with the euphoria inherited from the Anjunabeats and Armada era.
Spotted early by Ferry Corsten on Flashover, Audien subsequently moved between Armada, Astralwerks, and Spinnin’, delivering tracks calibrated for harmonic builds and catchy, memorable choruses. From the Daydreams and Some Ideas EPs to the Escapism album, he has also broadened his writing toward more pop formats and collaborations, without losing his taste for luminous productions. On stage, you can expect a set in which tensions rise gradually, between clean drops and melodic lines that bridge the club and the festival.
