On January 31, 2027, Koriass takes the stage at Club Dix30 in Brossard. A prominent figure in Quebec rap since the early 2000s, the Montreal-based artist has become known as much for his way with words as for his precise diction, initially focused on technique and social observation, then increasingly open to melodic refrains and more sung formats. From Mort de rire to Les racines dans le béton, including Petites victoires and Rue des Saules, he has built a solid career, nourished by the live scene and festivals. The evolution is confirmed by what follows: Petit love, Love suprême, and La Nuit des Longs Couteaux establish a more direct writing, carried by expansive productions, without losing the hip-hop DNA. After the collaborative project Génies en herbe with FouKi, Koriass returns solo with Abri de fortune (pour fin du monde), and continues to explore a French-language rap that is both direct, catchy, and rooted in reality.
