Kid Francescoli is Mathieu Hocine's project, a Marseille-based producer who has been shaping electro-pop with dream-pop contours since the early 2000s, blending smooth grooves with airy melodies. His writing, initially intimate and highly synthetic, has, over the course of his records, opened to a brighter pop, where keyboards take more space and where vocals, often female, bring that cinematic drift that is his signature. From Lovers to With Julia, then Play Me Again and Sunset Blue, he relies on a simple balance: a Balearic disco warmth, rhythms designed to move you without effort, and a restrained emotion, never demonstrative. On stage, Kid Francescoli reinvents this repertoire in a more organic version, while keeping that taste for retro textures and choruses that linger in the mind. On January 30, 2027, Kid Francescoli will perform at Atabal in Biarritz.
