The Jacksons

On 6 November 2026, The Jacksons bring their legacy to O2 Apollo, Manchester. First known as The Jackson 5 from Gary, Indiana, the brothers cut through the late 60s and early 70s with Motown soul, pop and R&B, built on tight harmonies, memorable melodies and basslines that drive the groove. With Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael out front, then Randy joining mid-70s, the group later moved to CBS/Epic in 1976 and became The Jacksons, gaining creative control and reshaping their sound.

That shift fueled the Philadelphia-influenced soul and disco of The Jacksons and Goin’ Places, before the self-written, funk-leaning Destiny and Triumph set a new tone with polished arrangements and vocal interplay. The later chapters, from Victory to 2300 Jackson Street, extended a catalogue that links the exuberance of the Jackson 5 years with a more urban pop-funk edge.
