Rikas

Rikas, a quartet from Stuttgart, lands in Madrid on 9 December 2026 at Copérnico. Their terrain is indie pop with soul and funk accents and a hint of surf, built on four-part harmonies and melodic choruses. Born of childhood friendship, they share songwriting and the microphone; it shows live: they alternate vocals, swap positions and sustain the rhythm as a unit.

After years in clubs and small venues across Germany, they cemented their identity with the EP Swabian Samba (2018) and the album Showtime (2019), which opened a warm, rhythmic palette. They followed with the EPs Short Stories (2021) and Goodbye Sunshine (2022), featuring more narrative, introspective songwriting. In 2025 their second full-length arrived, Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet, the starting point for the Dog Days tour.

For this Madrid date they plan a set that mixes tracks from their early days with pieces from the latest record, a few rarities and unreleased material. Tight backing vocals, sunlit guitars and a rhythm section with a funky pulse define a live show centered on collective interplay and the energy of shared voices.
