After completing her final engagements at the Kiosk in Marquette-lez-Lille on March 23, 2023, Isabelle Aubret returns to the stage to present a brand-new one-woman show: You Can\'t Stop a Bird from Singing.
A show written and directed by the artist herself, in which she reflects on the high points of her artistic career as well as on her family and personal life, performing throughout the show a selection of songs from her repertoire.
How can one write in a few lines a life of 87 years? Impossible. Be curious, be confident. I have so much to tell you, to make you smile, to laugh, perhaps to cry a little, but with the strength to come back to you to share a few small enchanted treasures. It is wonderful to be alive and to want to bring happiness.
