Nusantara Beat, a six-piece band from Amsterdam, has a deep connection to their Indonesian roots and a focus on honouring their cultural heritage. They bring a modern take on traditional Indonesian music.
The band blends traditional Indonesian songs from the 20th century with their own style and creativity, creating a sound with tropical and atmospheric tones.
Nusantara Beat also showcases the diversity of Indonesian music and looks to its future, paying tribute to traditional sounds while adding their own twists.
The band's debut single received airplay on FIP Radio, and they have performed at festivals including Beaches Brew (Italy), Dekmantel (Netherlands), and Lowlands (Netherlands).
