Gerd Janson and Krystal Klear link up for a back-to-back session at Phonox, London on 27 June 2026. A key figure from the Frankfurt/Offenbach scene, Gerd Janson balances DJ, producer and label head roles with ease. As the mind behind Running Back and a long-time Robert Johnson resident, he moves fluently between house, disco, techno and electro, mixing sharp rhythms, supple low-end and a deep sense of dance music history. His sets shift naturally from direct club cuts to edits and more oblique selections, always with a clear, driving pulse.
Opposite him, Dublin-born Dec Lennon, alias Krystal Klear, brings a house sound steeped in boogie, electro-funk and 80s synth textures. First spotted on labels like All City before launching his own Cold Tonic imprint, he’s shaped a style of prominent basslines, luminous keys and melodic hooks built for the floor. The breakout of Neutron Dance on Running Back cemented that approach, opening the door to extended DJ sets that lean into disco, vocal house and R&B-laced influences.
Together, they’ll stretch the night across warm disco, rubbery house, open-ended techno and balearic shades, trading selections with patient builds, long blends and a few timely curveballs.
