World News arrives at LAUT in Barcelona on 30 October 2026 with a live set that spans post-punk, shoegaze and '70s–'80s indie rock. The London band has crafted a distinctive identity of atmospheric guitars and catchy melodies, with an energy that is at once melancholic and electric. Their sound nods to classic British touchstones while maintaining a contemporary, very personal outlook.

They debuted in the midst of lockdown with the EP Job and Money and, since then, have been refining their approach step by step. In 2024 they released Escape and Mindsnap, two EPs that opened doors within the alternative scene. In 2025 the singles Don’t Want to Know and Everything Is Coming Up Roses circulated widely, while The Tinman became a viral phenomenon and led to a sold-out UK tour.

In 2026 they are preparing their first album and taking it to stages across the UK and Europe. On stage, World News blends layers of guitar and taut rhythms with clear vocal lines, alternating hazy crescendos and more direct bursts. Between new songs and recent tracks, the concert promises a survey of their journey so far and hints of what’s to come.
