Bruno Berle

Bruno Berle, composer, poet and multi-instrumentalist born in Maceió, arrives in Madrid with a repertoire that spans MPB, low-key bossa nova, folk and a relaxed R&B. A member of the new wave from Brazil’s Northeast, his direct, unadorned songwriting places voice and melody front and center, with light arrangements that give each song room to breathe.

Live, Berle pares everything down to the essentials: understated guitars and keyboards, gentle percussion and a clear attention to nuance. His debut No Reino dos Afetos (2022) opened an intimate world of warm harmonies and concise forms, a line he continued with Tirolirole, where he refines everyday imagery and restrained rhythms.
