The Australian Pink Floyd Show (TAPFS) was born in Adelaide in 1988 and has since performed in more than 35 countries. The band’s members notably played at David Gilmour’s 50th birthday, sharing the stage with him and Rick Wright. For nearly 40 years TAPFS has offered faithful interpretations, recreating the Pink Floyd experience.
The show features lighting effects, lasers, LED visuals, video animations and inflatable structures, including a giant pig as well as the band’s pink kangaroo. TAPFS has collaborated with musicians who toured with Pink Floyd, such as Guy Pratt and Durga McBroom. In addition, long-time member Lorelei McBroom took part in Pink Floyd’s A Momentary Lapse of Reason and Delicate Sound of Thunder tours.
