Kid Francescoli

Kid Francescoli, aka Mathieu Hocine, brings his synths to Le 106 in Rouen on February 5, 2027. Based in Marseille, he has been shaping since the early 2000s an electronic pop that flirts with dream pop and a gentle vision of dance music. Initially marked by intimate songwriting and synthetic textures, his project opened with Lovers, then gained new momentum with With Julia, conceived with singer Julia Minkin and centered on a more assertive vocal interplay. Play Me Again further broadens the spectrum between indie pop, electronic songcraft and Balearic touches, while Sunset Blue creates a more contemplative atmosphere without losing the drive of tracks that make you want to move.

On stage, Kid Francescoli reinvents this repertoire with a more organic lineup, blending keyboards, supple drum machines and airy vocal lines. The live set moves between luminous pulses, weightless excursions and choruses designed to stick in your head, alternating signature hits and more nocturnal detours. It’s a journey through his work, from Lovers to Sunset Blue, where intimacy and dance find their balance — conceived as much for the room as for the bodies.
