Todd Rundgren

Todd Rundgren will be in Paris on September 7, 2026, at L’Alhambra. An American musician, singer-songwriter and producer, he has carved out a singular career since the late 1960s, from Nazz to his solo work and through his time with Utopia. Melodic pop, rock, Philadelphia soul, progressive rock, psychedelia and electronic touches: his repertoire draws on several decades of songwriting and studio work.

On stage, Rundgren blends power pop and ballads without hierarchy, weaving in more fragmented transitions and synthesized textures. From his early albums Runt and The Ballad of Todd Rundgren to Something/Anything? and A Wizard, a True Star, and through the Utopia years and records such as Hermit of Mink Hollow, A Cappella, Nearly Human, Liars, White Knight and Space Force, he moves between signature songs and less-expected tracks, revisited with a band adept at shifting aesthetics.
