On December 15, 2026, Joyce Jonathan will perform at the Splendid in Lille. A singer-songwriter, she writes and composes on both piano and guitar, working within the French chanson tradition with pop-folk inflections. On stage, she favors sparse arrangements and a clear delivery, serving intimate lyrics that address relationships, doubts and everyday life.
Over the years she has built a broad repertoire, from her early independently produced songs to Les p’tites jolies choses, conceived in two parts. That project opened a more jazz-oriented vein, co-written and co-composed with Ibrahim Maalouf, which enriches her acoustic palette. In Lille she alternates between piano and guitar, revisiting her well-known pieces and slipping in more recent songs, ranging from ballads to light, rhythmic numbers. The stripped-down format places voice and songwriting at the center, for a concert refocused on the song and its melodies.
