Anthony Kavanagh presents Jet Lag on February 13, 2027, at the Théâtre de la Gaîté Montparnasse in Paris. A Québécois comedian, actor and singer, he alternates stand-up, improvisation, music and impressions with effortless ease. In this show he plays on various kinds of misalignment—cultural, romantic, generational—those moments when the body has arrived but the mind is still lagging behind. A keen observer of everyday life, he builds bridges between Québec and mainland France, between connected lives and the search for meaning, and between relationships and misunderstandings, moving from laughter to more intimate confidences without losing the tempo. His dubbing voice, sense of rhythm and stage presence support a physical performance punctuated by interactions and musical detours. Jet Lag brings together what he loves to do on stage: tell stories, mime, sing, impersonate and share that feeling of being out of sync that follows us from the ends of the earth to just around the corner.
